What Is Hot Heads?

Hot Heads is a crash game from Bragg Studios' Indigo Magic label. It uses a chili pepper eating contest theme. Three cartoon characters eat increasingly hot peppers and a multiplier climbs as they go. You place a bet on one, two or three competitors simultaneously and cash out before they stop. The game allows up to three simultaneous bets with independent auto cashout targets. It is one of the more creative crash games available at UK licensed operators. The RTP is 94%, which is the lowest of any crash game reviewed on this site. Players who prioritise long-term returns should factor that in. For higher RTP options, see our Cash or Crash review, and for site picks visit Best Crash Gambling Sites UK.

How Hot Heads Works

Choose your competitors and place your bets before the round starts. You can bet on one, two or three of the competitors in the same round, each with its own stake and auto cashout target. Once the round begins, the competitors eat chili peppers and the multiplier climbs. Cash out before a competitor stops eating to win your stake multiplied by the current value. If the competitor stops before you cash out, you lose that bet. The three-competitor format lets you spread your risk across different cashout targets in the same round. Auto cashout and autoplay are both available.

RTP and Volatility

Hot Heads has a 94% RTP and high volatility. The 94% RTP means the house edge is 6%, which is double the edge on Red Baron or JetX (both 3%). Over a long session this difference adds up. The high volatility means wins come infrequently but can be larger when they do arrive. If you enjoy the theme and format, be aware of the RTP before you play. For players who want a similar multi-bet format with better RTP, Red Baron from Evolution also supports up to three simultaneous bets and has a 97% RTP. See our Red Baron Review for comparison.

RTP is calculated over millions of rounds. Your individual session can vary significantly. Always set a budget before you play.

Strategy Tips

Use the multi-bet feature to spread risk. Set conservative auto cashout targets on at least two of your three bets to give yourself a floor each round. Only let one bet ride to a higher target. Given the 94% RTP, session variance will be higher than most crash games. Keep individual stakes small. Set a tight session budget and stick to it. Hot Heads FAQ

What is the RTP of Hot Heads?+
94%. This is below average for crash games. Most crash games available at UK licensed operators sit between 96% and 99%. If RTP is important to you, consider Cash or Crash (99.59%), Red Baron (97%) or JetX (97%) instead.
How does Hot Heads work?+
Three cartoon characters compete in a chili pepper eating contest. The multiplier climbs as they eat more peppers. You place a bet on one or more competitors and cash out before they stop eating. Cash out before they bail to win your stake multiplied by the current value.
Can I bet on all three competitors at once?+
Yes. You can place up to three simultaneous bets, one on each competitor. Each bet has its own stake and auto cashout target.
Where can I play Hot Heads in the UK?+
At UKGC-licensed operators that carry Bragg Studios content, including those listed above.
Is Hot Heads a good crash game?+
The three-competitor format and chili theme make it one of the more original crash games available in the UK. However, the 94% RTP is the lowest of any crash game on this site. Players who want the best long-term returns should choose a higher RTP game.
